I have moved or changed my phone number - how do I update my details?

Keeping your contact details up to date is essential to stay compliant with UK microchipping laws and to ensure we can reunite you with your pet if they go missing.

You can update your information instantly through your account.

1. Log in to your account at petdatabase.com/account.

2. On the Personal details section, click:

   • Change email address to update your email.

   • Update phone number to change your contact number.

   • Update address to enter your new home address.

3. Make any other updates as needed:

   • Add emergency contacts for extra safety.

   • Edit Smart Pet Tag details if you have one linked to your pet.

4. Scroll down and click Save to confirm your changes.

• Legal compliance: UK law requires your details to be accurate on a DEFRA-compliant database.

• Faster reunification: Vets, wardens, and rescues will use these details to contact you if your pet is found.

• Covers all pets: Updating your account automatically updates all pets linked to you.

💡 Tip: If you move house or change your phone number, update your details immediately to avoid fines of up to £500 and to make sure you can still be contacted.
