How to edit my pet’s details (breed, colour, sex, date of birth)

Keeping your pet’s details accurate helps vets, wardens, and rescues identify them more easily if they go missing. You can update most of your pet’s information at any time through your account.

1. Log in to your account at petdatabase.com.

2. Go to My Pets and select the pet you want to update.

3. Click Edit pet bio.

4. Update any of the following fields:

   • Breed

   • Colour/markings

   • Sex

   • Date of birth

5. Click Save to confirm your changes.

Some details, such as your pet’s microchip number, can’t be edited yourself for security and compliance reasons. If you need to change these, please contact our support team.

💡 Tip: Adding more detail (such as distinctive markings or accurate breed information) increases the chances of a quick match if your pet is found.
